On the last 28th, MuCA and Sebrae promoted a training in bioeconomy, aimed at educators from the municipal education network of Belterra. During the action, professionals were able to get to know the museum’s facilities and its role in transforming the region.
Bioeconomy proposes a sustainable way of thinking about income generation, preserving the forest and involving the local populations of the Amazon as protagonists in this process. For the transformation to take place, it is necessary to cultivate an interest in entrepreneurship from an early age, in schools, and offer continuing education to young people. This is the main goal of several MuCA projects, such as the Agroforestry Backyards, the implementation of our research laboratories and our actions to train ambassadors, among many others.
